Landholder vs CSG Mining Companies

During the past few weeks there has been a number of stories on current affair shows featuring the CSG vs Landholders debate. It has been suggested that landholders have no right to their own land, as mining companies can access a property and place wellheads where ever they please if they believe there is CSG reserves in the area.

We are not entirely convinced with this debate as we know that landholders do have a say where a wellhead is placed on their land. We also know that each landholder receives annual royalties for each wellhead placed on their land.

Will this affect the CSG industry and it's mining growth in Australia? No! It may slow it down and the government may introduce more stringent environmental impact studies and legislation involving landholder rights, which we totally support.
